• Image of Orthoceras Fossil Pendant with Topaz

Orthoceras, a 400 million-year-old ancestor of the squid, was a hunter and an adaptable creature to a changing oceanic environment. It had the ability to crawl the ocean floors or float along with the currents. These fossilized aquatic creatures are found in the Baltic Seas of Sweden embedded in limestone. The Orthoceras fossil is believed to instill pride, success, confidence, and luck in the wearer. One blue topaz and three white topaz accompany the pendant. The blue and white topaz are believed to connect to the energy of the universe allowing one to be their true self and spiritually connected.

The Orthoceras pendant is a handcrafted statement piece. The fossil and gemstones are set in a unique, brilliant satin-finished sterling silver.

The gemstones are 3.5 mm natural sky blue topaz (heat treated for color) and three natural 3 mm white topaz. It is about 3 inches in length and about 1.24 inches at its widest point. The sterling silver chain is 18 inches long. Moniker and 925 for sterling are stamped on the backplate of the pendant.
